The Scandic Luosto is a log-cabin complex situated in the Luosto ski resort, 50 metres from the slopes and five kilometres from Lampivaara amethyst mine. Guests can also enjoy the reindeer, husky-dog safaris, fishing and hiking in the nearby countryside. Lapphut Village is one kilometre away and Sodankylä heritage museum and church, which dates back to 1689, is 40 kilometres from the hotel. Rovaniemi Airport is 110 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 110 minutes.
