The Rutland Hotel is four-floor hotel set in an elegant seafront building on the exclusive Queens Promenade overlooking Douglas Bay out to the Irish sea. Active guests should head for the National Sports Centre two miles away for a range of available activities while sightseers may enjoy a visit to Castle Rushen, six miles away. The hotel is approximately 13 miles (21 kilometres), or a twenty-minute drive from Isle of Man Airport. Taxis are available at the airport and should cost £15 - £20. A frequent bus service also operates.
