Location. The Poggio alla Sala Resort and Spa is located in Tuscany, Italy, 14 kilometres from Montepulciano, 12 kilometres from Montepulciano Lake, and 50 kilometres from Siena.
Hotel Features. The Poggio alla Sala Resort and Spa is set in an early 19th-century Tuscan Villa, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. There are three outdoor swimming pools, a waterfall, and a stream. The Spa and Wellness centre (surcharge) offers a sauna and a range of treatments. Le Grottesque Restaurant features a high-vaulted frescoed ceiling and is furnished in modern style with Perspex seating and aluminium tables. The Italian cuisine includes classic Antipasti, Fillet with Foie Gras, and Tempura of Herbed Fish. The Agape Restaurant offers fish specialities in a homely setting, with red-bricked walls. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily, and there is also a poolside bar.
Horse riding, tennis, and bicycle rental are all available nearby. The Valdichiana Golf Club is 30 kilometres away.
