Location.Once a fortified farm, the Messapia Hotel and Resort is housed in a historical stone building with panoramic views over Santa Maria di Leuca. The property is located 800 metres from the sea and 35 kilometres from Gallipoli. Brindisi-Casale Airport is 100 kilometres from the resort, an 80-minute drive.
Hotel Features.The outdoor pool and sun deck is complete with a poolside bar and panoramic views, and pampering massage and beauty treatments are available. The concierge can organise guided excursions and transfers to and from the airport, and the Messapia Hotel and Resort also offers a shuttle bus to and from the town centre. Children s facilities include a kids club and pool.

The Messapia Restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes, specialising in locally caught seafood, set under ancient stone archways overlooking the pool. Alternatively the Roof Garden Restaurant offers meals with panoramic views, and Bar Pizzeria serves a selection of drinks and pizzas.

Guestrooms. The 211 guestrooms have simple decor with wicker furnishings and are complete with balconies. Expert Tip.The city of Otranto, with its historical centre, fine beaches and busy port, is 35 kilometres away. The Gallipoli peninsula is also 35 kilometres distance.
