Location. La Pirogue Hotel is located on the island of Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean, on the beach in Flic en Flac. The hotel is five kilometres from the Casela Bird Park and 35 kilometres from the capital city, Port Louis.

Hotel Features. La Pirogue Hotel is modelled on a traditional fishing village with thatched cottages built from volcanic rock. It is set in 14 hectares of gardens and the outdoor pool is surrounded by palm trees.

Expert Tip. Originally a small fishing village, Flic en Flac is situated in the west side of Mauritius and has a long, white beach and lagoon, fringed with Casurina trees. The resort itself offers lots of activities, including a supermarket, restaurants, cyber café, bike and scooter rentals, and a chemist.
