Beyond The Many Things To Do And See In Florence, Fiesole Is Also Rich In Its Own Arts And Historical Places Of Interest. Fiesole Dates Back To Ancient Times And Offers A Vast Archeological Area With Ruins Of An Etruscan Temple And Walls, A Roman Amphitheater And Baths And Its Civico Museum Which Houses Many Of The Excavated Items. It Is Home To The Gothic Catherdral Of San Romolo Which Dates Back To The 12th Century And The Basilica Of Saint Alessandro, The Oldest In The City. There Are Two Art Museums In Fiesole That Are Both Worth A Visit. The Bandini Museum Offers A Collection Of Paintings By Italian Artists From The 13th To 15th Centuries. The Primo Conti Museum Holds Oils And Drawings From Artists Of More Modern Times.
