Location.Karavados Beach Hotel is a modern resort situated 300 metres from St Thomas Beach and one kilometre from Karavados village centre. Kefalonia Island International Airport is eight kilometres away, and takes around 15 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features.Karavados Beach Hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, including one for children, and a poolside bar. Staff can arrange excursions around the local area, assist with currency exchange, and lock valuables in the hotel safe. There is also a play area, a pool table and a television in the lobby. Expert Tip. Ferries run from the main ferry port in Argostoli to the mainland and the island of Zante once or twice an hour. During the 30- minute crossing it is sometimes possible to catch sight of a pod of dolphins that live in the bay. Further along the seafront Loggerhead turtles can often be seen, particularly in the morning when the local fishing boats are selling their catch.
