Xian's Shaanxi History Museum houses more than 100,000 items, including gold, silver, bronze, ceramics, coins, paintings, murals, weapons, statuary, scrolls, textiles, calligraphy and lacquer ware. The museum was built in a Tang Dynasty architectural style with graceful peaked roof lines and columns, and is set in a park-like landscaped environment.
