Location. The Hotel Budir is located in the Budir lava field, Iceland, on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula close to glaciers, mountains, and its own private golden sandy beach. It is 25 kilometres from the nearest town Olafsvik, 215 kilometres from Reykjavik, and 250 kilometres from Keflavik Airport.

Expert Tip. There is a snowmobile rental outfit in neighbouring Arnarstapi which organises two- hourly trips to the top of the Snaefell Glacier, with spectacular views of the peninsula. Arnarstapi also offers daytrips by sea around the islands of Breidafjordur.
