Location. The Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is located in the centre of Santa Cesarea Terme, Italy, within 100 metres of the thermal baths of Santa Cesarea and 200 metres from the Mediterranean sea.
Hotel Features. The hotel is housed in a monastery dating from 1898 and features a roof terrace overlooking the town and the coastline of Salento. Amenities include a 24-hour front desk with safe-deposit box, and complimentary Internet access is provided in public areas.
International and traditional dishes are served at the Hotel Mediterraneo's Ristorante Le Ginestre. All dishes are prepared with local ingredients such as fresh fish, and an extensive wine list is available. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served in the American Bar, which has a terrace onto the main square. Half- board rates are available.
The hotel offers a banquet room, catering for up to 300 people, and a meeting room, accommodating up to 50 delegates.
The hotel has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The nearby beaches offer swimming in the Mediterranean Sea and different water-based activities like windsurfing, boating, and jet skiing. Trips by boat along the Salentine peninsula can be arranged. The spa facilities of Terme di Cesarea are 100 metres from the hotel.
