Location.Doryssa Seaside Resort, on the island of Samos, is built in a traditionally Greek style and comprises a hotel, a village of bungalows and a square with shops. Pythagario, a typical Samiot village, is 800 metres from the hotel, and the Eupalinos Water Tunnel, built around 520 BC, is seven kilometres away. Expert Tip. Hire a car for a day (surprisingly cheap on Samos) and drive around the island along the coast. The scenery and the views are magnificent, and the trip will take less than a day, even with frequent stops.
