Location. Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is located on the edge of Cradle Mountain/Lake St. Clair National Park in Cradle Mountain, Australia, two kilometers from Devil's Cradle.

Abundant wildlife is likely to be spotted, including wallabies, wombats, pademelons (small kangaroo-like animals), ravens and currawongs, which closely resemble ravens. Entrance fees are charged during peak visiting periods. The park is a part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.
