Descrizione e informazioni Bibury Court
Location. Bibury Court is an Elizabethan manor-house hotel set in six acres of gardens in the village of Bibury, and is bordered by the River Coln and the countryside of the Cotswolds. London Heathrow Airport is 60 miles away and can be reached by car in around two hours.
Hotel Features. Afternoon tea can be served on the Bibury Court hotel's terrace or in the wood-panelled drawing room beside the log fire. Front-desk staff are on hand to provide room service (limited hours), look after valuables in the hotel safe and arrange dry-cleaning services. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.
A full English breakfast is offered every morning, while lunch and dinner are served in the formal restaurant, with seating in the drawing room and conservatory, and on the terrace during fine weather. The à la carte menu features seasonal English dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, such as White Cheltenham Beetroot Soup and Coln Valley Smoked Salmon Blinis.
Guestrooms. The 18 guestrooms are located on three floors and feature traditional English country-house decor, antique furnishings and views of the courtyard or gardens. Amenities include premium bedding, coffee and tea-making facilities, televisions, direct-dial phones and bathrooms with designer toiletries. Some guestrooms feature four- poster beds and Victorian baths.
Expert Tip. Bibury was once described by writer and artist William Morris as 'the most beautiful village in England'. Its honey-coloured 17th-century stone cottages with steep pitched roofs once provided housing for weavers from nearby Arlington Mill. The mill now houses a folk and agricultural museum, including a room dedicated to Morris. The village also features a trout farm, where visitors can catch their own fish and sample trout dishes in the restaurant.
