For a surcharge there is access to the neighbouring Thalasso Spa. Bikes can be rented at the hotel and access is provided to a horseback riding centre 22 kilometres from the hotel. Local attractions include the Minoan Palaces of Malia (ten kilometres away) and the Knossos (25 kilometres) and the vibrant city centre of Heraklion (also 25 kilometres). Nikos Kazantkakis Airport is 25 minutes by car, 23 kilometres (14 miles) from the hotel.
