Location. The eight-storey Steigenberger Hotel Baltic features maritime-influenced architecture and is situated in central Stralsund, one kilometre from the historic centre. Stralsund railway station is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. Rostock-Laage Airport is 85 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Steigenberger Hotel Baltic's fitness area features cardio-vascular equipment and a sauna, and offers views across the city. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, and public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access. Staff at the 24-hour front desk are on hand to look after valuables in the safe-deposit box, offer express check-in/out and organise guided city tours and tickets for events. Those arriving by car will find garage parking available (surcharge).
Combining Nordic cool with Spanish fire, the Weinwirtschaft restaurant serves tapas and Baltic seafood, with dishes including Roast Duck Breast with Apricot Vanilla Compote and Monkfish Coated with Peppers. The lobby bar serves snacks, cocktails and German beers and offers views over St Mary's Church.
