Sesimbra village is a popular destination for Lisbon weekenders, but with its narrow and often steep streets, and a large sector of the community still dependent on the catch, it retains much of its fishing village atmosphere. Children under 13 years old can only use the spa's indoor relaxing pool during limited hours and swimming is not allowed in this pool. Swimming is permitted in the outdoor pool, which is not heated.
